I'm running into issues trying to enable the JCMA. It say's it can't enable.
I believe it's running into issues with the JAVA versions in installed.
I have 2 JIRA instances running JIRA 8.18.xx and 8.20.xx Per Atlassian's documentation, running JAVA 8 and 11 should be fine. However, I have a feeling JCMA needs something higher.
Thoughts? Is there a JCMA I should try (un-install current and manually upload)
Hi @Tom Gross,
Do you use Jira Service Management? I've found this article that may be related to your issue: Unable to start the plugin container for Jira Cloud Migration Assistant plugin. Do you see any errors in the atlassian-jira.log while attempting to enable the plugin?
Reinstalling the plugin may help, please try to do it.
We're not using JSM.
To get around the issue, I uninstalled JCMA 1.9.15 and manually installed JCMA1.8 from 3/2023. Appears to have worked on both of my JIRA instances
I'm going to go with these for our migrations, since they work and are only 6 months old.
