Error-Message in atlassian-jira.log

Ingo Schult March 20, 2019

When evaluating the "atlassian-jira.log" file, the following error message is output:

2019-03-21 06:22:52,371 HealthCheck:thread-3 ERROR ServiceRunner [c.a.t.j.healthcheck.support.GadgetFeedUrlHealthCheck] An error occurred when performing the Gadget feed URL healthcheck
java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out

The server on which Jira is installed has no connection to the Internet. How should you configure Jira if you are not connected to the Internet to avoid this error message?

Hello,

Kindly have a look at this KB:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirakb/health-check-jira-base-url-859447384.html

and this ticket:

https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRASERVER-63795

It is not related to the internet connection.
