My team current project has multiple sprints each for a subset of teams lets call them team A (sprint 1A) and Team B (sprint 1B). When we go to look at the Epic report it shows both sprints event though say Team A was the only team that worked on the Epic. This appears to be throwing off the velocity as it is appears to be calculating it as if both sprints are working on the epic but it's really only one. For example in the first 3 sprints we completed 9 story points the velocity should be 3 points but the report is showing 1. Is there anyway to update the report to only look at sprint 1A when calculating the velocity or maybe I'm wrong and it's calculating the velocity right.
Or maybe the solution is to have each team have their own board under the project?
