Enabling Secure notifications

Hi there,

we are using Jira software installed in our organization local server in an external domain and we are hosting some of our projects in it.

the email notification was working normally until the IT security team decided that receiving Email notification from Untrusted source (the external domain) is not acceptable.

but they accepted receiving emails from outlook installed on that machine.

can you help in finding a way to link Jira with outlook so Jira will give the message body & recipients to outlook application to send the notification message as normal email.

or is there any other idea to receive email notifications in our complicated situation.
