Enable quick filters on kanban board for priority

In the past, I've used Jira and had priority dropdown filters on my kanban board to be able to filter by issue priority. I'm seeing ways to do this via JQL, and I also see the ability to add quick filters, but I do not see any option to add quick filters on this new interface. All of the old guides seem to have an outdated interface.

Some notes:

1). I am an admin with full permissions

2). I do not want to use a JQL query. The UX isn't great for our non-technical folks.

3). I want to add a dropdown filter to the kanban board, next to search, assignee, label and type, that has a "priority" dropdown with all of the options.

3A. I do not want to use JQL for this. I should be able to drag and drop a filter that's on the kanban board. There used to be an interface for this, and I don't know how to proceed fromhere.

4). With sincere respect (and appreciation for helping!) I am very much not looking for an alternative workaround, which I have seen posted in other similar issues. Just this filter, on this interface, as a dropdown =).

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the Atlassian Community!

I think this is because you are using a team-managed project.  In these, you have no option but to use JQL to define your quick-filters.
