Email reminders for Time Tracking

I am wondering if there is a way to automate an email from Jira to remind people to enter their time each week (or month) if they have not entered at least 40 hours per week (or whatever number of hours we might need). Would like to be able to eliminate the manual work/overhead for sending out these emails every week.

Hi @Jamie Edmondson

as for now, I do not think that this is possible without using third-party apps.

I would like to mention here our app - Clockwork Automated Time Tracking & Timesheets Pro.

We have developed a feature that allows managers to send email notifications to users who missed their working hours targets.

Basically using Clockwork Timesheet, the manager can identify users who missed their daily working hours target, and send an email reminding them to log their time:

Here you can find documentation with more details.

Right now it is not fully automated, still, a team leader or manager has to do that manually, but we do have an item in our backlog to allow users to schedule it, and make it fully automatic.

If you have any other questions, or you would like to get a demo of our app, you can schedule it here.

Best Regards,

Gracjan
