Editing or deleting a filter subscription owned by someone else

I am a Jira system admin, but I cannot see how to edit or delete filter subscriptions that were set up by a former employee.  I changed the filter owner to be myself, but I still don't have any options when I go to Manage Subscriptions. I can view them but there are no edit/delete options.

Wow, this is very bad design.

It appears that Atlassian does not intend to provide a method for Administrators to manage subscriptions created by others:

Hi @Rex Parsons

Yes and...to Trudy's answer: The only work-around I have found for this gap in admin features is to:

  • temporarily re-enable the user,
  • log-in as them from user management,
  • manage their content as needed,
  • revert back to admin, and
  • de-activate them again.

Kind regards,
Bill
