Hello @Mario Amaya

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

The answer is a qualified Yes.

You can use Automation Rules to Clone an issue and specify a different destination project and issue type. However, due to differences between projects the new issue may not have all the information of the source issue.

There are also changes coming to how Automation Rule executions are counted, and the limit on the number of executions that can occur in a month. So, you need to assess how often you would need to do this, and what other Automation Rules are also executing, to see if you can remain within your limit.

Do you only need to make a copy of the issue, or do you also need to keep information synchronized between the original issue and its copy?

Hello @Mario Amaya

Welcome to Community!

I see that you're looking for a plugin that has no limitations and can keep the info synchronized. I suggest trying our application Copy & Sync that can help you with that.

With Copy & Sync, you can easily:

- Duplicate and clone tickets from one project to another with all the data you need (summary, status, description, attachments, comments, etc.)

- Keep all these data synchronized so when a change is made one side, it will be updated on the other side so that can keep consistency between the projects

You can do a lot more but if you need more information, don't hesitate to get back to me or our support team.

Our app is free during 30 days and stays free under 10 users so feel free to give it try, I'm sure it will fill your need!

Regards

Thibaut
