When I enter a due date on a Jira ticket, once I submit the ticket, I can no longer see the due date.

I was able to see the due date until recently, and now the due date disappears once I submit.  Am I doing something wrong?

Hi @Cathy Miller welcome to the Atlassian Community!

The may be different reasons for this:

  • There may be different issue operation screens for that issue type and the Due Date is only on the create issue screen and not on the view issue screen
  • The Due Date field is not listed on in the Details panel of the issue view, but listed under More fields
  • If it's not visible under More fields either, try clicking on Configure below that panel and look for the Due date in the Suggested fields in the right side bar. If it's listed there, drag it to the Context fields area

Thank you for the information.  It seems the configure button has been disabled by our admin, so I will check with him on that.
