Different Filters - different columns

Edited

Hello Jira Community,

I have a strange problem again.

We have created different filters for our different boards.

I will just call them filter 1 and filter 2.

For my first baord, I created filter 1 with the colums Epic Link, Summary, Assignee.

For my second board I created filter 2 with the colums Epic Link, Summary, Assignee but also three custom colums like sum, decision and so on.

And now my problem is that my first filter changed as well. It now also includes the custom colums.

And everytime I change something in one of the filters an save it, it also changes for the other filters and I don't know how to change this.

Can someone help?

Additional information: All our projects are company-managed.

Hi @Admin OKZT ,

When you add columns for a specific filter, make sure that you have selected the filter tab in the list with available columns before you make any updates. If you have accidentally selected any of the other tabs, you are updating default settings instead of the filter.

On the other end of the story, when you are watching the results of a filter, make sure you are looking at the associated filter columns and not your or the system default settings in the same way.

Hope this helps!

Hello,

thank you very much. It worked for one filter but not for the other.

The 2nd filter always jumps back to My Defaults and does not save changes. Best regards.

So I just found out, that only the person who created the filter can make changes to it, even so we have permissons set to "Admin" and "It-support" can edit it. Filter.JPG
