At some point, versions/releases were enabled in my company managed project and I was using them. They have now been disabled and I am unable to delete them...
Do I need to ask the JIRA sysadmin to do this? I have admin access to my project but I don't see the option to delete them.
They were creating confusion when my team members accidentally filtered on them. I have cleared them from the legacy stories, but they're still hanging out in the Versions panel, causing confusion.
Hello @michelle_wiss
Welcome to the Atlassian community!
A Project Administrator can enable/disable use of Release Versions per project from Project Settings > Features. Refer to
https://support.atlassian.com/jira-software-cloud/docs/enable-releases-and-versions/
You should be able to enable the feature yourself, delete the versions, and then disable the feature again.
