Can't see to get this fixed with Jira automations :
When a new version is created for a certain project, I want to create some new issues :
- in the same project
- with title = <new version name> - <some text>
- with fixVersion = the new created version
Keep getting the error :
The rule has been configured with components that require issues to be provided by the trigger. To run these components you must add a branch for this version or JQL. The following components require issues: Issue condition
But you have to be more specific about your rule. How your rule looks like and what exactly you want it to do.

@Alex Koxaras _Relational_ , thanks. That seems to work indeed.
It must be the "some project as trigger" setting .

Check the audit log @Tim Van Mierlo . What does it say?

So you have created one rule inside a project.
You also have and IF statement about the project being "A", or "B".
However did you change the scope of this rule, or you left it to run within one project? (did you make the rule global, or project based?). What is the rule's scope? If you want this rule to run globally (or to many projects) you should take into consideration execution limitations.
