Create a story on Sprint Started referencing the name of the sprint

Hello and thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

AS a PM
I WANT to automatically create a Task with the Sprint Name in the Summary
SO THAT my colleagues have a story to bill certain time against each time a sprint starts.

I have made a manually-triggered automation where the Sprint Name is hard-coded. I have been unsuccessful at locating a "sprint" smart value that is not tied to an issue. Is there a Sprint object perhaps?

Kind regards,

Alan

Actually, still not able to do what I want because we have two comingled boards in one project to show two active sprints) and I want to filter on the sprint.name to because I create sub tasks assigned to specific sub team members (e.g. "sprint.name ~ Legends". I tried to do this with a JQL filter condition but it was not valid ("Field sprint.name does not exist...").

Any suggestions? Thanks!

Kind regards,

Alan

Sometimes, you just need to read the small print. In this case, it was right under the Trigger header:

Execute this rule when a sprint starts. You can access the sprint object in other components by using the 'sprint' smart value e.g. {{sprint.name}}
