Connect Jira to Azure DevOps

Hello together,

in Jira I've got a custom status (represented as a button in jira tickets) named "Start Automation". When a user clicks on this button I want to trigger a job in azure devops.

I know one possibility might be a tranisition in the workflow and to trigger a webhook. Does somebody has experience with that and azure devops and might help me? I don't know where I can find the azure webhook for a specific job and how to trigger that.

We are trying to launch an Azure devops pipeline with a webhook postfunction on state transition.
We are not sure how to call the pipeline from the webhook.

We would like to trigger an Azure pipeline on a change of status.
