Company managed setup: new US from Issue list to Backlog

Hi,

When creating a new US in the Backlog, it gets listed under issues.

How to move in over to the backlog?

I am used to newly created US`s popping up both places, but in this company manage set-up, it only gets into the Issue overview. I need it in the backlog.

So, yes - if anyone can tell me how, Gr8:)

Hi @Glenn Samuelsen and welcome to the Community!

The backlog you are referring to is a feature of your project (or team) board. It uses a mapping of the US workflow to a column of your board. For issues to appear on the board's backlog, they must be:

  • retrieved by the board's filter (which can be set via Board Settings > General)
  • the statuses of your workflow must be associated with the proper columns of the board;

Either of those may currently be missing.

To verify and adjust the column mapping, navigate to your board, hit the ... button near the top right corner and select Board settings. On the columns page, you will be able to drag any missing statuses onto the columns they relate to. While you are there, also validate the board filter on the General page to make sure the issues are included on the board.

After that, your issues should appear on the board.

Hope this helps!

Absolutely. Thank you.
