What I’m wondering is if there’s a Jira timer feature that a developer could use like a stopwatch. In other apps, I’ve seen a feature that you can click/Start when you start work and then click/Stop when you’re pausing or complete. The thought is that it would be integrated with the Work Log feature so that the time spent would be reflected automatically in the Remaining Estimate field.
Do we have anything like that available to us in Jira data center? I don't have service desk installed in my jira instance.
Any suggestion would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Om
Hi Om,
Jira doesn't have this kind of solution but you can use a plugin like eZee Worklog which works exactly this way.
You can choose between free and paid version, the latter having timer displayed on the issues.
Hope that helps.
Regards, Matt
