Changing project from "Business" type to "Software" in Jira software cloud

in Server, you can switch project type under the Project Setting. However in Jira Software Cloud, the Project type field does not exist. Is there a way that I can change my business project into Software in cloud version?

I am sorry to tell you that the project types are now so different, you can't flip them in Cloud in most cases.  We now have to create new projects of the desired type and move our issues into them (which was not a nice thing to do, but at least has not got worse)

Thanks for the input. Decided to delete existing project (since not much tickets are there) and created a new Project with software type instead.

And my Pet Peeve:  Please let me rename "Software Project" to something else.  It is not just for Software, and it is not a Project.  It is a Team doing all sorts of work.  This is a huge political impediment to people outside IT when you are trying to coach them to build and operate Process with Iterations for Business, not Software with Waterfall for IT.  :-)

And it leads people like me to chose "business project" - as I wanted to work with Jira for a business project - and deeply regret it!! 

I will not be able to move everything into a software project, because there are way too many issues which are linked and structured, but now I am stucked to a project software which is definitely not the right fit (and I think a "software project" would be)

Thanks for this. but this workaround does not work for me as I need to have the same Project name and Key for my project. But appreciate for the help.
