Change the name of system field (component)

Question

Hi all,

I've searched for many options to change the component fields name to Theme (so Component to Theme).

The Jira version I have is 7.3.0 so the InProduct Translation Plugin is not compatible anymore.

What I've done is:

* Downloaded the jira-languages-6.3.15-en_UK from the server
* Unpacked the JAR file
* Changing the values in the language pack jira-languages-6.3.15-en_UK
* Create a new JAR file
* Uploaded the JAR (and validated)
* Checked System settings (UK Default)
* Checked Personal settings (UK Default)
* Rebooted the server and restarted the Jira services

But... nothing was changed, any advise?

Hi Michel,

I tried the above steps and was not able to reflect the changes in JIRA either even after setting my system language to English U.K.

At this time, if you have not voted on JRASERVER-21293 and left your use case in the comments please do so.  Voting on the issue and leaving comments will allow you to be notified if there are any changes to the ticket including a resolution or comments by the developers.
