Ceptah Bridge Connecting to Jira Cloud Error:The remote Server returned an error. (401) Unauthorized

Jeanne Higgins December 7, 2022

I have Microsoft Project Professional Desktop installed which is a trail until 12/12/22 which I am trying to use the Ceptah Bridge to connect to my Jira which is cloud based, but whenI enter URL, Username, and password and do the "Test Connection" I keep getting the error of "The remote Server returned an error: (401) Unauthorized".  What does this mean?  Below is the screen shots?  Can any one assist with getting this resolved?

Hi Jeanne,

Most likely, you are entering your actual password in the connection settings. Please click the API Key link, generate an API Key and use it as the password.

If the issue persists, please contact us at support@ceptah.com.

Regards,

Sergey
