Cards not being released

I have multiple kanban boards and one agile board. We created one overall Kanban board that pulls in cards from all the board and maps them to their appropriate columns. I am unable to release all the completed cards from the done column though. I have gone to each individual board and tried there as well but still some cards linger. We have tried unlinking cards and releasing again but to no avail.

Wondering what may be my issue if someone could please help!!

Resolved this by deleting all the releases that the cards that wouldn't release had in the Fixed Release Field. Had to actually delete the release and remove cards from release for the Scrum board cards, removed all releases from the Fixed Release Field for the Kanban board cards. Then redid a release on the individual Kanban boards to release those cards, and the overall Kanban board to release the Scrum board cards.
