Cannot update Actual Start or Actual End Dates

Hi, I am a new user to Jira. I have added the fields Actual Start and Actual End to my Tasks but was not able to update them. After selecting the dates, they are not saved and always revert to None.

Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

When you look at the history of the issue is there anything that is reverting the changes?  What types of fields are being used (just date pickers or date:time pickers or a third party plugin field)?

Hi, thanks for replying.

I dont think there is any history in the issue that is reverting the changes. This is the first time I am using this field.

The Acutal Start and Actual End are the Custom Fields (already defined in Jira). The Type is date:time picker. (see below)
