Can't see versions filter on board

Hi all, pretty new to Jira, and I'm having trouble figuring out if / how to get the release filter to show on my board. On my backlog view I can see the version filter option

However on my board view I can't see the versions filter option.

Based on the presence of "Custom Filters" as a button in your image I believe you are working with a board for a Team Managed project. Is that correct?

Filtering for Versions on the board (vs. the backlog) is not currently available. There is a change request here on which you can vote:

The work around is to create custom filters for each Version.
