Can I create tickets from Slack using Jira Server for Slack ?

Hi!!

 

Using the add Jira Server for Slack is it possible to create tickets from Slack?

Or is it only to get notifications on Slack?

Hey there!

Using the official Atlassian-provided Jira Server for Slack app, unfortunately creating issues from within Slack is not currently an option. We have a feature request open to track this suggestion however: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/API-185 

In the meantime, some of the other Slack connectors for Jira Server available on the Atlassian marketplace do offer the ability to create issues from within Slack.
