Unfortunately, our projects are organized by teams. However, there is a lot of cross-team/project work where dual access would be preferred.
Hi Ron,
Issues are only associated with a single project. However, you can make an issue show up on multiple boards and if the projects share the same workflow, then you can move tickets on one board and they automatically move on the other board. Is that the kind of thing you are looking for?
Also, if an action takes place on an issue on one project and you want some type of action to take place on a linked issue on another project, then that can be done using Automation For Jira or ScriptRunner or a similar tool.
Can you give us some more information including an example of what you are wanting to do?
I would like visibility (only) in project A of a set of stories (under an epic) in project B. If a new story is added in project B, then the said story should automatically appear in project A. Possible?

See John Funk's answer above to my inquiry which involves sharing the same workflow in multiple projects.

Not really.... the Projects in question (A and B) have different workflows.
I guess I´ll take a look at Jira Automation.

Hello Ron,
What do you mean exactly by "updated from another project"?
Are you trying to automate updates of issues in project A based on updates to issues in Project B?
Or are you asking about allowing users to manually update stories in multiple projects?
