We started the sprint with 90 tasks, with a few days left the team has ran out of work ... so i have added some extra tasks from the back log to the sprint.
Normally on the burnup chart you see a jump on the red scope line.... i have one such jump on the scope line presently where 1 task was added late to the sprint.
However this time when i add 10 new tasks it's just added them to the 'initial scope' and adjusted the red line from the start of the sprint.
Why is this happening and how do i fix it? When i send the report to my managers i want them to see that we added extra tasks because we where running ahead of schedule and i don't understand why this worked last sprint but is suddenly not working??
