We need to update several hundreds of tickets with their corresponding hubspot deal ID filed (number field). we have an excel with each ticket number and the update that needs to be made for this ticket. do we have a way to do that in bulk?
Hello @Dana_Harel
You can use the CSV Import option (under Jira Settings > System > External System Import) to update data in existing issues.
In your CSV you need to provide the Issue Key and the current Summary value of the issue you want to update, in addition to the fields that you want to update.
In the mapping of fields you need to map the Issue Key field from your CSV to the Issue Key field in Jira.
In my example I am updating the Description field. Do note that you must provide the Summary field with its current value.
Issue import is limited to 250 issue, so you will need to break your data down into groups of that size.
