Hi,
I have automated email list of issues that meet a JQL criteria and can email to assignee and so on however I have struggling to get the rule to group issues to each individual assignee and send a separate email to each containing a list of juts their assigned issues. I see this can be done with Jira Cloud using Advanced Branch Rules which is not available in Jira 9 datacentre which my organisation has.
Any creative people out there with a workaround?
Thanks, in advance.
Hi @Benjamin Novak , thanks for your question.
Have you thought of / tried a filter subscription? This sounds like what you are looking for.
If you write a filter query with something like, assignee = currentUser(), and then, once you have saved it, go into the Details section and click on, under Subscriptions, 'New subscription'
(I know this is in Cloud but you can also do this in server)
Then you can specify how often and to whom you want to send the results. You can also send the email even if there are no issues, just as a confirmation that there isn't anything -
I hope this helps, but if not, please give us your feedback and either I or someone else will try to help.
Cheers
