I have implemented an automation on my Jira project to automatically transition an issue status, using the 'Issue created' trigger. There are some conditions, but they aren't relevant to this question.
The trigger is executing successfully for manually created issues (i.e. via the 'Create issue' button, from the backlog etc). However, I have another automation process that also creates some issues. The trigger is not executing at all for these issues - there is nothing in the Audit log.
Any ideas?
Hi @Tom Austine ,
By default automation rules are not triggered by an another automation rule.
You can go to the rule details and see if the option to "allow other rule actions to trigger this rule" is checked.
Thanks,
Aditya
