I'm trying to set up automation that sends me an email when a description has changed within a certain list of statues. I have the automation trigger working perfectly. My only problem is the formatting of the email.
I really really really want to have the differences in description show just like when Jira sends their updates and shows the new text in green and the deleted text in red while the rest is not formatted in any way.
Is there a way to have this format through automation?
Only think that came to my mind is to use changelog smart value (https://support.atlassian.com/cloud-automation/docs/jira-smart-values-issues/#--changelog--) and display previous and current version.
I'm not sure that automations offers to make a diff on text.

Seba
Yeah, I am using the changelog for that but I still have to manually compare to see what was actually changed and when I'm looking at a 500 word description, it's hard to find the one sentence that was removed. That's why I am looking to see if there's a possibility to show the difference like Jira already does when it sends it's default emails.

I don't think that it is possible in automation ;/
