i want to build a Rule automation based on the Due Date.
After the Due Date, the card should be unassigned an automatically moved to "finish"
Theres a Due Date template (before Due Date send Mail) but cannot make it work, that it works as i wanted it to.
Also i dont have any knowloedge in smart values. Can anybody help please?
What problem are you trying to solve by doing that? Knowing the "why" will help the community to provide better suggestions. Thanks!
Until we see that...
Most of what you describe could be done with a JQL filter to identify the issues. And that JQL could be used with a scheduled trigger, automation rule.
Using automation rules requires learning and experimentation. Just using rules others have created without understanding them may lead to problems in the future. I encourage you to try to create the rule, and possibly partner with your Jira site admin to do so.
To get you started on creating your rule, please refer to these documentation and example sources:
Hello @Julia Müller ,
Could you please attach what you've tried to configured? I believe you could configure a scheduled automation that'll be triggered daily, and find any tickets that have a due date before current day.
If the condition is matched, then you can execute any action you want on the issues.
to be honest. We dont know anything about smart value und jpq. So it would be great, if someone could send us a step by step guide.
What were going to do ist, that if the due-date is over, the card should be moved to another lane.
thanks in advance
