Apply one workflow for 2 projects



I have 2 projects (Named A & B ) and use the same workflow. But in fact, when I change the status of the ticket from project A (from Todo -> Done), I cannot do the same in project B. There is no option for me to choose in the status field. 

Why is that and how to fix this?

Hi Mira,


Can you please check if you are having "Transition Issues" and "Close Issues" permission in the project B? Please also check with your Jira admin / workflow developer to understand if the workflow is having any particular condition which might be restricting you for viewing the transition in Project B.

I just found out that I'm not a Project owner of the project B. After being a project owner, the issue is gone.

Hi @Mira 

I've one workflow for five of my projects.

It could be that you have certain validation or conditions which restricts a ticket to be closed.

Can you please share snapshot of your workflow and conditions,validations you have in these workflow?
