I have noticed in JIRA Advanced Roadmaps that filters are no longer applying to child issues. For example, I have an Epic in progress with some child stories already done and a view that filters out done issues. The child stories used to appear as greyed out but now they do not, making them look as though they are still in progress.
@Tom Searle are child issues resolved or just in status Done?
@Stevan Mandić in the examples so far, the child issues are resolved as well as being in a status that maps to the Done status category. However, given the filter in question is only on the status, I would not expect this to be impacted by whether or not the issues are resolved.
Thanks,
Tom

There is the feature called show full hierarchy (checkbox in filter panel) which (when checked) shows all children even when they don't match selected filter.
Maybe, those issues are not greyed-out anymore because their visibility is controlled via this checkbox.

Thanks @Stevan Mandić for that suggestion! When I uncheck the "Show full hierarchy" box in the Filters panel, the child issues that are Done disappear completely from the roadmap (instead of remaining but as greyed out).
Does this mean that the "greyed out" experience has been deprecated, do you know? I can live with that, just need to know for sure.

@Tom Searle I am not sure if it is deprecated

Hi All, I am having the same issue where the filter does not apply to child issues. I see the documentation talking about a "Show full hierarchy" box but I do not have that option. Any idea how to ensure child issues ARE filtered?
