Administration of multiple organizations for multiple teams

Currently I have 3 organizations/installations used by 3 separate teams. Some team members are supposed to switch the teams, therefore I am considering moving all teams to one installation with 3 separate projects. 

What are the pros and cons of this move from an admin's perspective?
