Hi,
We are migrating from jira server to jira cloud.
We achieved migrating by using csv projects (By key and name), but now we want to add the users per project(all that are involved), but now we can not include the users per project, the idea would be to include them in a some way (automatically) not one by one
Could someone help us with that?
Thanks a lot
Adding users per project from the people's tab of your project settings is not a scalable approach .You should consider adding the users to a group then adding that group to a project role. That way you can easily manage the user list. If added on a single user basis, it becomes a nightmare in future.
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Seeing that you have migrated issues from the CSV file, you have to give permissions manually in the project itself.
Thanks,
Pramodh

Thanks @Pramodh M!!, it would take too much time to do it, we would looking for other ways to do it automatically ;)

Say, you have to add the members to the group also!
and if you have projects that represent different teams, it's then a burden to you to handle groups and roles.
Groups in Jira is used for managing global permissions, subscription filters, managing access to filters, dashboards, security level.
Not a best practice to handle project access via group!
Let the project administrators handle access, if you are a Jira admin you will have a site to manage not access to projects!
Think about it!
