Edited

Hello,

Is there a way to add a google text questionnaire while creating a ticket in Jira Software? Thank you.

Hi @Elif Alverson

Out of the box, no you can't. One solution would be to use an app like the following https://marketplace.atlassian.com/apps/1225921/google-forms-for-jira?hosting=cloud&tab=overview

However, it would be great if you could share the use of that google form, in order to be able to provide a bit more solid answer.

We would like to have the 3 pages long questionnaire to pop up if the reporter picks a specific type of issue type so that we do not have to go back and forth to gather data to work on a ticket.

So why don't you gather these info right when the issue is assigned (or transitioned to the next status)? You could in practice create a transition screen with all your fields and make them all mandatory via workflows validators.

There are over 30 questions to be answered to pick the correct assignee. Some of these questions require a paragraph long answers, justifications , diagrams etc.

Oh, I see. Then perhaps this app could do the trick. If it were only text and no diagram, I would propose to use Jira's native functionalities. Use this app (as a trial for 30 days) and search for more on the marketplace. Maybe you'll find another better, or a free one!

Hi, @Elif Alverson

There are several ways of adding a checklist in Jira. Do you specifically mean an integration with Google forms?

Well, we would like to have the 3 pages long questionnaire to pop up if the reporter picks a specific type of issue type so that we do not have to go back and forth to gather data to work on a ticket.
