This seems to be new behavior as of today. Anybody else seeing this?
My team's activity stream shows a mix of new and old activity -- some of it over a month old. Lots of recent activity is not showing up.
When I click the Show More button at the bottom of the stream, the stream gets updated and shows the correct list of activity.
Your index could have messed up and been fixed after the issue has been index.
I'm not seeing the problem any more. I don't know what caused the original problem or what made it go away.

If you are using an OnDemand instance then to resolve problem I think that you cannot do more than just create a support ticket on support.atlassian.com.
I hope that the issue will be resolved soon.
