I notice the new workflow editor in a company managed project does not seem compatible with Transition Post Functions, especially when an add-on app like Jira Misc Workflow Transitions is in-play.

Steps to reproduce:

1. edit a workflow with existing transition post functions that contain JMWT actions.

I am Avinash, a Product Support Engineer at Appfire. I would like to provide further insights about the JMWE app in this.

We have further consulted internally about the compatibility check, and our JMWE Product Manager has been in touch with the Atlassian PM. Here is the latest update.

Atlassian started rolling out the new workflow editor a couple of months back but without the support for 3rd part apps although their original plan was to support 3rd party apps in the new workflow editor.

In recent discussions with Atlassian’s PM, it was clarified that they did not intend to roll out without app support. If necessary, they will revert to the old editor as the default. Atlassian will provide updated UX mocks for feedback before any GA release. They will resume work on this effort no earlier than July and aim to collaborate with app vendors like us to ensure everything works well before GA.
