seting into a project a value from an external ERP

Hi.

We use Jira Service Desk Cloud to support our clients.

Each client is a Jira Service Desk project.

I have an external ERP that tracks the hours we work for clients.

I'd like to update from the ERP into the JIRA project the remaining hours in the contracts.

Is it doable to create a project-level property for info like remaining hours?

If not, how do you normally deal with scenarios where you need to add data from external systems?
