Hello @Natalia Mojica

The option for the Epic filter on the board is available only for Team Managed projects, not Company Managed projects.

For a Company Managed project you would need to define Quick Filters (from Board Settings) using the Queries option and create a JQL filter for each Epic.

@Natalia Mojica Also remember the EPIC panel in the filter section will only be displayed if you have this Enhance my board and backlog option available in the Jira instance you are using.

@Natalia Mojica

You can find this option by clicking the ... button in the upper right corner of your Scrum board, just above the Insights button.

From the Learn More article link that comes up in that pop-up

https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Jira-Software-articles/Enhanced-Jira-board-and-backlog/ba-p/2331946

The rollout of the option is initially available only to product admins. Then product admins can make it available to all users. Eventually Atlassian will roll out the availability of the option for all user without product admin intervention. The time depends on your subscription plan.

The article says the enhancement is enabled per user. I'm not clear if that is just during the rollout or if that continues after the rollout is complete. Each user may need to turn the enhancement on to see the new filter options.

That EPIC panel you see is a default filter added in the newly updated Jira Cloud version which I am also using. But if you want to display the EPICs in your board than you might wanna add a quick filter for EPIC:-

issuetype in EPIC and give it a name here:

@Natalia Mojica -

Need further clarification on your ask.  In JSM, issue management is done via Queue and not via SCRUM/KANBAN boards.  The board usage is used in Jira Software projects by default and not designed for JSM project.

What are using against your JSM project?  Please advise.
