Hello,
Is it possible to add a variable in the Public comment added notification that when the link in the notification is clicked, it routes directly to the comment in the ticket that actually triggered the notification? In other words, is there a variable that can be used in the notification that will take the recipient of the notification directly to the comment in the ticket? Possibly a variable that can be used that gets the focusedCommentId, similar to the behavior when clicking on a link from the Notifications icon, that takes you directly to the spot in the ticket where the comment is.
Hi Durell,
I believe this is now possible. JIRA now has a 'Bell' notification icon, against the respective ticket. which would alert the user of being tagged to a comment and redirect them to that respective comment as well.

Hi Durell,
This is possible via Automation for Jira levering Smart Value capability.
This isn't possible in the native Jira notifications I believe.
Cheers,
Mark
