can you customize the user interface with third party content

Is it possible to include content from third party sources into the web front end of the service desk? 

furthermore, is it possible to take pieces of content from the service desk interface and include them in third part tools?

Hi @Arlen Thurber and welcome to the community!

For your first question, this is not possible with out of the box JSM. I’m not aware if there’s an add on from the marketplace that can assist you here. Perhaps someone else from the community can confirm if that’s the case.

You can however add links to external resources in your portal to helpful knowledge, communication channels like chat, request forms and more from tools outside Jira Service Management.

For your second question, I’m not sure what pieces of content you’re exactly wanting to take and put into (which) 3rd party tools.

If you’re looking to provide customers with the ability to raise requests directly from, say your website as an example, then you can embed a request form widget on to that site. You would also be able to customize its appearance and what fields you want that request form to display by tweaking your project settings.
