When an onboarding request/issue is submitted on portal, 6 automation rules are triggered and created up to 20 issues in different projects. All those rule-created issues are linked to the Onboarding request/issue.
I want to each rule-created issue automatically links to all other issues that are linked to the onboarding request.
How can I achieve that?
Thanks!
I'll try to assist you with your inquiry.
So, in summary, you want the newly created 20 (up to) issues to be related to the onboarding request/issue.
If I've comprehended your question correctly then this would be an easy fix, provided you're using the creation of the onboarding ticket as the trigger for all your automation rules.
I'll explain it in high level and hopefully this will give you an idea. So, if all six of your automation rules runs when the onboarding ticket is created, you'll just have to add a step that links the triggering ticket to the newly created child issue.
You'll have to do that every time the child issue is created, please see the screenshots below.
I hope this helps.
Cheers,
Francis
@Francis BatiloI have linked those rule-created issues to the onboarding request. That is easy. What I want is to link those rule-created issues to each other. In a sense, each and every children issue links to all sibling issues. And for all of them.
