I want to see the exact dates, in the history section of a Jira ticket. However, for some changes it shows me "last month ago" and for some it shows me "4 days ago" and these changes are done on the same day. Like for e.g., today is 2nd May, and earlier comments show last month ago, and some are 4 days ago. My question is, if it is 4 days ago, shouldn't it also be "last month ago"? or vice versa?
What is the month, that Jira is taking for tracing history? Because I can see 20th April date on some changes in history.
I wanted to track changes date-wise.
You should be able to change the date format by clicking on it:
Also, if you are interested in a history report for the list of tickets, check out Issue History for Jira app from my team. Here, you will get all changes in chronological order in date format.

Hi Diksha, I had the same question. If you click on the date, you can change it to show a regular date. What you are seeing is 'Relative Time'. There is a Jira issue to make this configurable. I would suggest voting for it if you'd like a change. Feel free to comment on it as well. After 7 days, it's supposed to go to 'absolute format'.
Here's a link to the Jira issue: [JRACLOUD-41891] Provide ability to disable relative time - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products.
