For some reason, I stopped receiving email notifications where I am mentioned as of Thursday. I have verified that my settings should send an email notification when I am mentioned and also attempted to use the Notification helper, but I am unable to test the notification event of being mentioned. I am still receiving notifications for items where I created the entry or I am a watcher.
ETA: I discovered Mimecast had blocked several Jira emails with the following message: "These incoming messages have been blocked by Mimecast for security reasons. No data has been accepted for them and they can't be retrieved." They were also tagged with "IP found in RBL."
Welcome to the community. For this one, I would recommend you to contact Atlassian Support (https://support.atlassian.com) for further assistance as they can review the system logs to determine the root caused especially you are receiving notifications for other operation.
In addition, can you check if you are set for your issue as a Requested Participants?
