Where can I execute an AQL search?

Michael Szustakowski June 6, 2023

This help page shows a feature where I should be able to run and test AQL queries; however, I am unable to find this feature anywhere.  Where can I test my AQL queries?

Hi Michael.

Here is a screenshot of one place (Assets in JSM Cloud) that I frequently use to search for assets.

Go to an object scheme, click on the filter icon and select Advance AQL.

Does this answer your question?

It's a start for sure!  It's still limited by the objectTypeID and not as feature rich as the JQL search that has auto complete; however, it's better than blindly making queries and hoping something shows up.

Thanks!

In JSM Cloud with Confluence you could use the assets macro.

There you can select one object scheme an run queries.

But i really do miss some kind of "Assets Browser" included in Assets for queries on the complete database, regardless of the object scheme.
