What is the use of Callback URL* in Workplace Search/Authorization ?

Fiza Beg October 21, 2022

I am checking the Jira Service Management (JSM) tool. I was trying to get back Jira's issue data into elastic search. I integrated it with enterprise search to get Jira data. I am using private IP on which I have installed elastic and successfully I am getting data into elastic enterprise search. While doing integration I get to know  that enterprise search is taking data from Jira, not that Jira is accessing elastic port and giving data.

So my question is what is use of callback URL over there in authorization tab? As I even cannot see any option in elastic where we can do changes in issues (either status or assignee etc.) coming from JSM.

Typically the callback URL is used for OAuth.
