Does the 'Watch issue' option trigger the same notifications as it did for the ticket reporter?
Given: Someone created an issue and I want to be updated on the ticket changes, if I select 'Watch issue' will I receive all changes on the ticket as the ticket reporter receives?
This depends on the notification scheme. If the watchers are included on the issue updated event, then yes. By default, watchers are included on most of the events:
You must be a registered user to add a comment. If you've already registered, sign in. Otherwise, register and sign in.
Check your associated notifications scheme for the recipients of your events.
If Reporter and All Watchers are listed for the same Event, then yes.

This concerns the JSM Notifications, not the customer notifications!
For the customer notifications, this is different.

Hi Darko,
Probably, but you need to check the Notifications Scheme to see when the Watcher gets notified for that project. But typically the Watchers get notified more often than the Reporter does.
