Ticket Overview Jira Service Management

Stefan Speck February 6, 2023

Hello dear community,

I have the following problem: In the ticket overview of the queues, I cannot assign individual tickets to a person. I am admin for this project and would like to assign other colleagues to the tickets. I hope you can help me. I am glad to receive an answer.

Hello Stefan,

You or someone else might be missing some permissions.

You can't assign to anyone?
=> On project level you might miss the Assign issues permission

You can't assign a particular person?
=> That person is missing the Assignable permission

Did this help?

Regards,

Jeroen

Hi @Stefan Speck

Do you mean that you cannot select an Assignee in an issue?

  1. You need the Browse users and groups global permission
  2. The Assignable User permission must be granted to a group of users or all users
  3. You must have the Assign Issues issue permission in the permission scheme associated with the project.

Hi @Dave Mathijs

Exactly, I cannot assign a person to the ticket in the overview.

I have the global right to search users and groups. Assignable User permission Assign Issues permission as well.

Unfortunately, I really don't know what I'm doing wrong.
Thank you for your help.

Regards,

Stefan
