Hi all,
In my Jira Service Desk board I've created a swimlane from a query (labels = my_label_name) to group issues with a specific label and have everything else in a 2nd swimlane.
For some reason, swimlanes do not appear on the board at all. I have a quick filter with the same query and it works fine when enabled, so the query is sound. I also made sure to select "Group by: Queries" on the board in case that has any effect. The View Settings has the option to expand/collapse swimlanes but that has 0 effect.
Any ideas?
I'll think about it but for now I don't have any more suggestions :(
Hi Sascha,
Hope you're doing fine.
Check all the configuration of the board and board filters including sub-filters. Also - are you using Team Managed or Company Managed project?

Hi!
As far as I can tell, configs are all done correctly, although if you could give me a bit more to go on it would help.
I don't use any sub filters and all tickets that I want to see do appear on the board, just not any swimlanes, so the main filter should be correct. Also, I've used the exact same jql for quick filters as I did for the swimlanes and the quick filters work fine.
I'm using a company managed project for JSD.

Hi Sascha,
Thanks for more information. What comes to head is to check whether your field "Labels" is a correct field you've selected and this field is present on your issues. Also remembert the the Swimlanes have to be Group By Queries.
Hope you'll find a solution :)

Hi Gosia,
The Label field is there and being used, as I mentioned, the quick filter queries work just fine and the color of the cards is also working according to the label.
The board view is set to Group By: Queries.
Swimlane config:
Board showing labels and group (but no swimlanes):

Hi @Sascha
This is working as expected on my side. I made some swim lanes based on queries and when grouping by queries is selected all is as expected.
Did you clear all quick filters, are non of them active when grouping by labels?

Hi @Sascha
Only suggestion I have, create a new board using the same filter and set the swim lanes there and group by Queries.
It might be there is something broken on the board.

Well it seems like the tier of JSD that I'm using doesn't allow me to create another board. When going through Jira's board manager, I only see 1 board (our sprint board tied to our dev project) and when attempting to create a new board using the customer support project I can only save it as a personal board.
