Split the Service Requests between the two Projects.

Ganesh February 1, 2023

Hello everyone,

We have 2 projects in our instance, Project A and Project B.

We have 20 requests in Project A, so we want to use the some of them in the Project B. How to get the Service request from Project A to B without creating the new Service Request in Project B. Is there any way to do that? If yes suggest me the best way to do that?

Regards,

Ganesh.

Ganesh, you should be able to use the Move Issue functionality to move the tickets to the new project.

Keep in mind that you'll need to ensure your customers have access to both projects. Additionally once you move tickets into project B, you'll need to update the request types so that customers can access their tickets.

I'd recommend testing this with a couple of issues first.

Thanks,

Kian

Hi @Kian Stack Mumo Systems

I'm not asking the issues moving from one project to other project, I'm asking about the Request Types nothing but the "Get IT Help", "Access Request.". How do we move the one Request Type (Forms) form one project to another project.

Regards,

Ganesh.
